august 9 - i'm tired but i had fun

ignoring that little sad moment this morning (previous entry), today was a good day. i went to my aunt's house to see my new baby cousin for the first time. she's so beautiful and perfect. and so small...she fell asleep while i was holding her earlier and it was the sweetest thing ever. i just kept staring at her cute little face... and i nearly fell asleep with her too because i didn't get enough sleep last night. but i still had such a good time regardless. there was a moment in the evening where i just sat outside with my aunt and mom while she held the baby and we just hung out and talked about random stuff for like an hour. it was so so nice.
my aunt lives in a different part of florida than i do, and there are a lot of critters over there that i don't see much where i live (they're probably where i live too but i never see them)... like these muscovy ducks and a cute cute cuuute little beetle.

i was gonna grab the beetle to see it a little closer but i was scared of hurting it...
also i got bored at one point and filled out this template i saw on twitter. i don't draw much (which is to say i'm not very good at it) but i still wanted to try it just for funsies... is it cute? :3c

orange has a big ass head though. sorry orange.
also i somehow fell asleep to あらためまして、はじめまして、ミドリです。by Midori at almost full volume during the drive back home and i just thought that was really funny.
